For our second Multi-Media project, we have to work in groups and produce a website as our final project. I joined with Catherine and Zara who are both in my multi-media production seminars. Once we got in our groups, we all discussed our roles. Catherine and Zara both appointed me as the team manager, whilst Catherine role wanted to be the creative practitioner and Zara, the software engineer.
Our roles in detailed:
Kim - Project Manager
• Kim’s role will be to ensure that website will be made on time.
• Organising the context that will be used
• Planning our meetings
• Take care of the CC licensing
• Making sure payments are made on time for paying for the Host (As we will use Word-press)
• Disseminate information about the project
Catherine - Creative Practitioner
• Catherine’s role will be to ensure the design, and layout will be kept up to date
• Researching on theories
• Researching on ways to improve accessibility and user ability
• Control of production materials
• Manage resources
Zara - Software Engineer
• Zara’s role will be to ensure that everything will work on the website such as the:
• Flash
• After-effects
• Organise Output and Distribution
